Natural Beauty No Filter
My final project ‘Natural Beauty No Filter’ is a reflection of the beauty standards in a world where social media is a virtual atmosphere with false ideas of beauty. I designed an awareness campaign for Dove that addresses the overuse of filters, the importance of accepting natural beauty, and taking control of the idealisation of beauty standards. I interviewed a number of girls in their early 20’s to get their personal opinion about this topic. The campaign designs were inspired by Dove’s advertisements and their intent to inspire girls and women to love themselves and not be fooled by social media's unrealistic portrayal. It is all about embracing body positivity, natural beauty acceptance, no filters, and self-love.
