Serene Dreams is a womenswear collection designed by Sahel Zalavi and is inspired by Sahel’s determination to chase her future dreams. Serene Dreams explores vintage romanticism which is influenced by Sahel’s experience at Smock Ally Theatre as a ballerina and actress. The collection also takes poetic inspiration from the films Moulin Rouge and Black Swan to capture the essence of freedom and sensuality. The colour palette consists of shades of creams, pinks and reds as seen in the luxurious soft wools, sustainable vintage lace and tulle. Each piece of the range is hand-crafted with love and consists of statement coats, hand-dyed and embellished red carpet looks, dancewear, lingerie and jewellery.
