Cosmos simply means universe, but it suggests something much bigger in how we as humans try to make sense of everything. Sometimes we need to stop searching for order or clarity, and instead just accept the infinite possibilities of this universe.
These still images might seem to be out of this world, but they are found in macro images of everyday materials. A form of escapism, they embrace and find comfort in the cosmos of our immediate environment. My work is about slowing down, reflecting, appreciating the things we have in our lives and finding the beauty in what we can never fully understand.
