The project is the renovation of the fashion store, & Other Stories, at 26-27 Grafton Street in to a five-story building for jazz lovers. The place will be called “Celestial Jazz Club," with the first three floors being classrooms for jazz music, a well-equipped recording studio, and a jazz room to hold gigs for the members to perform and sell their products/tickets. The two top floors are an opulent Parisian restaurant and roof top cocktail lounge with sumptuous meals and beverages in a shimmering romantic space with soothing jazz music. The concept for the building is "Space", with decorative elements of planets, dark space, stars, galaxies, the Sun, and the Moon with colourful lighting, and luxurious materials in a touch of modern ArtDeco. The building will also focus on sustainability aspects like recycled materials and green roofs.
