Alice Carew’s Portrait

Splinter is an A/W ‘26 daywear collection inspired by carved stone structures and directional architecture. This is the premier collection from the new Irish brand Mouka, which aims to connect fashion back to nature. Modern, angular shapes create new forms in a palette of bedrock grey tones in granite, slate and mottled marble. Natural wools and recycled fibres are locally sourced for a low carbon footprint and garments are unlined to reduce synthetics. Contemporary silhouettes in worsted wool and felt work together with reversible details and chunky, raw seams. Sharp shoulders and seamlines elevate this daywear wardrobe for lasting functional style. Every design has been made with comfort, ease and versatility in mind. Designed for a creative customer, yet needs a smart, business wardrobe; she values sustainable and vernacular materials that not only reflect our Irish landscape, but transcend trends. This collection offers quality without compromising on style.
