Rossella Macri’s Portrait

Ughroxx is a gender-neutral streetwear collection that explores self-discovery and identity. It captures the painful yet transformative journey of personal growth. The dark colours, black and muted greys, evoke a sombre mood, reflecting both emotional and physical struggles. Silhouettes contrast oversized, self-protecting shapes with fitted pieces that expose vulnerability. Distorted, face-like patterns in the fabrics represent fragmented identities, illustrating how individuals are both seen and hidden. Crafted entirely from vegan and cruelty-free materials, the collection ensures ethical fashion. Raw, textured fabrics such as untreated denim and rubbery latex merge with chains and metal hardware to symbolise societal expectations and the struggle to break free. Every piece tells a story of inner conflict and personal evolution, capturing the confrontation between inner darkness and external pressures. Ughroxx is a statement of inclusivity, resilience, and authenticity, translating the challenges of identity into a wearable, ethical, and gender-neutral form of self-expression.
