Indelible is a S/S `26 womenswear collection that draws a direct connection between the visual Rorschah test used in emotional therapy, and the visual and metaphorical presence of bruises on the body. Both symbolize the aftermath of impact, whether physical or emotional, and the unpredictable patterns reflect the lingering effects of heartbreak and the healing process. Inspired by inkblot tests, the collection transforms these organic forms into unique black vegan leather appliqué, mimicking the fractured nature of a broken heart. The appliqués are stitched onto delicate cotton organdy, creating a contrast between permanence and
fragility and additional harness details add customising options. Silhouettes are dramatic with a focus on asymmetry that combines the softness of drape with unpredictable tailoring. Natural hand-dyed cotton using circular dying techniques display bruised hues of delicate purples and yellows derived from vegetable waste such as coffee beans, beetroot and pomegranate seeds for a sustainable wardrobe.
