THE TRILOGY is a 2024 A/W collection for strong, independent women who value beautiful fabrics and heritage crafts . Inspired by Irish folk legends and Celtic mythology with the Raven goddess Morrigan at its helm, this collection has a unique 3-layer (trilogy)dress code. Each layer can be worn separately, or as a 2 or 3 layer outfit for different looks and silhouettes which herald a more sustainable and interchangeable wardrobe with a key focus on texture. The designer has revived ancient traditional Celtic dying techniques with natural plant-based ‘woad’ in its iconic cobalt blue tones. The circular patterns of the dye draw inspiration from Ireland's ancient Neolithic sites and the organic shapes of the Irish landscape. Features of the collection include smocking details in vegan leather which draw inspiration from Ireland`s many streams and rivers, and a hand woven macramé skirt portraying the crown of Claddagh through intricately woven knots.
