Moonshine is a Spring/Summer womenswear collection from the brand Magpie. This collection takes inspiration from the haunting mystery, the music and the deeply religious culture found in the Deep South and Appalachian Mountains. Growing up, the designer watched her Grandfather work skilfully with leathers and suedes in his Dublin-based leather shop, which gave her a love and respect for the natural skins and the time and craftmanship needed to work with this natural resource to make heritage garments. 

Silhouettes are flirtatious and playful to create a soft, feminine look for a young customer who is free spirited and loves vintage aesthetic. The colour palette is easy to mix and match with denim blues, whites and creams. The collection is designed to be affordable and charming, keeping femininity at its core with a selection of lacy cottons and broderie anglaise details for a fresh and breezy summer wardrobe.
