Shadows marked my first experience as an Assistant Director, and it was a role I really grew into. I drew from my logistical strengths to help everything run smoothly on set, making sure communication with the director remained clear and focused—even when faced with a few unexpected scheduling challenges.
While my main interest is in post-production, I was excited to step outside of that space and take on a more hands-on role. It pushed me to be more versatile and gave me a deeper understanding of on-set responsibilities I hadn’t explored before.
The experience not only allowed me to pick up a whole new set of skills, but also gave me a stronger sense of how all parts of a production come together. Being part of this team was incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful for how much I learned along the way.
