In this project, I've explored the transformation of an existing library into a space tailored to the unique needs of adults with autism. The primary goal is to create an environment that supports individuals with autism through thoughtful universal design choices, including the strategic use of open yet intimate areas, fostering a sense of security and comfort for visitors. Multi-functionality lies at the core of the design, ensuring that every space serves a purpose and is accessible to all. Incorporating contemporary elements with subtle Scandinavian influences, the design features carefully selected colours and textures, creating a space that not only inspires but also supports the growth and development of individuals with autism.
