Co-housing, community center 50 Richmond St S, Saint Kevin's, Dublin 2, D02 FK02.

This project transforms an office building into an intergenerational Co-housing community for LGBTQ+ students and older adults. At its core is the idea of skin, a metaphor for architecture as a protective, adaptive layer that supports both individuality and connection. The design includes a community center and cafe, flexible theatre/auditorium, and a range of apartments. The aesthetic blends natural textures with reused materials, creating an environment that supports sustainability, adaptability, and accessibility. Textures, thresholds, and shared spaces are carefully considered to promote safety, visibility, and pride, while encouraging spontaneous interaction and social connectives.
