Lollipop Time is a travelling campaign designed to allow road users to experience and develop respect and kindness towards each other. In Dublin, everyone uses different types of transport on the roads. At the same time, we may find some road users breaking traffic rules, or we may find that some road users may also be travelling with aggressive moods and words, affecting other road users, or even starting unnecessary fights and damaging other people’s road experience and mood.

Lollipop Time was inspired by school traffic wardens who keep traffic in order at school junctions and make sure every child crosses the road safely. They convey kind greetings and radiate friendly smiles to everyone, not just children, putting everyone in a good mood, and at the same time getting everyone to obey the traffic rules. Through Lollipop Time, the campaign motivates road users to be friendly with each other and promotes a positive road culture reducing negative attitudes towards each other!
