We have been tasked with transforming Claragh House and the surrounding buildings into a Boutique Hotel. The Claragh House is of architectural interest in Donegal County due to its rich past and heritage. I intend to preserve this history while adapting the function towards a modern and inspiring Boutique Hotel.  

After visiting the hotel's site, I felt so at peace in nature that I wanted to base my concept on relaxation. By taking a step away from the stress of daily life, the concept of Claragh Hotel is a dreamy getaway —a place to escape and unwind, where you can leave your daily responsibilities behind and truly relax. The interior will be based on the existing Georgian interior in the house and painted with pale Georgian colours. 

To sum up, the Claragh Hotel is a place where people can go to the countryside for some relaxation and bonding with themselves and nature.
