Claragh House is a boutique hotel set in the historic in Donegal. There have many beautiful old paintings hidden in storage, which inspired the idea behind this project. The hotel takes the concept of a “canvas” and turns it into a place where guests can experience art, history, and personal expression. Each room is designed around a different art style, while the entrance space includes a gallery featuring selected artworks found on-site. The overall design keeps some of the original architectural features, mixing them with more modern elements to create a unique atmosphere. This project also considers sustainability and accessibility, aiming to give new life to the building while making it open to a wide range of guests.
