Claragh House is the former home of the Watt family. It is being transitioned from a residential property into a boutique hotel in which I have decided to include a restaurant and wellness centre. I have embraced the magic of the land and use nature in the myths and legends of Ireland to lead my design choices. Guests will be immersed in in this through ogham writing, flora and fauna indigenous to Ireland and they may even find some Aos Sídhe hidden in the house. There will be a room dedicated to storytelling and other types of Irish entertainment. Each bedroom will be named after a character from ancient Ireland and be represented through flowers and animals associated with them. Altogether this hotel will have ancient Ireland whisper through the veil for an immersive experience.
