Michelle Kotzurek’s Portrait

Claragh House is designed as a welcoming retreat for diverse family arrangements, fostering a sense of home, comfort, and belonging. Situated within a historic setting, the project respects the past while redefining hospitality to embrace modern inclusivity. The design concept is rooted in refuge and connection—a place where guests can feel both at home and cared for. Inspired by the warmth of intergenerational gatherings, the space balances privacy with shared experiences, offering thoughtful accommodations for families of all structures. Integrating naturethrough color palettes and textures. The main house embodies a familiar atmosphere, while the outhouses offer a luxurious experience. This theme is expressed through a careful blend of traditional and contemporary elements, natural materials that evoke warmth and familiarity, and a layout that encourages both solitude and togetherness. Claragh House creates a dynamic environment where guests can embrace both relaxation and celebration, much like a cherished family gathering.
