Aoife McQuaid’s Portrait

Located at 1-4 Wolfe Tone Street, boasts a rich history dating back to the late 19th Century. Nestled just moments away from the vibrant streets of Dublin’s North City Centre, its original industrial Dolphines Barn brick construction adds to its timeless allure. Before repurposing this architectural gem, thorough research into its past was essential to honour Twilfit House unique character.

Inspired by its surroundings in one of Dublins most eclectic neighbourhoods, I envisioned transforming it into “The Slumber Boutique Hotel”. Embracing the areas dynamic spirit, I infused the hotel with lively colours and innovative concepts, seamlessly integrating it into the local community. The ground floor was thoughtfully designed to welcome guests and locals with a cosy coffee shop and a rejuvenating beauty bar, utilizing the buildings original layout. Continuing the theme of vibrant hues and textures throughout, each floor offers a cohesive experience, ensuring guests feel connected from arrival to departure.
