For this project I looked into how to turn an existing building into a collaborative workspace. The Chocolate Factory a protected structure located in Dublin city centre. The area is very multi-cultural with a rich history, which inspired me in the concept development. The brief asked for a multi-disciplinary working space, and therefore I chose to emerge the four most common personality types instead of limit myself to a few professions. The concept is called `Elevate´. It initiates people with different personality types to work together and to achieve better results while complimenting each other’s strengths. It is a workplace where everyone should feel comfortable, therefore different zones is created to suit each personality type, while still make room for collaboration and creative fostering. One of the floors also opens to public, making the building beneficial for the community in the area.
